Julien Bloch, PhD student in the University of Washington Department of Bioengineering who works in the lab of Center for Neurotechnology faculty member Dr. Azadeh Yazdan-Shahmorad, was named the 2022 recipient of the CNT Best Paper Award for Neurotechnology Advancement.

The Center for Neurotechnology has been awarded a new National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) award. This REU Site award will support the training of 10 students for 10 weeks each summer from 2022 to 2024.

The move to remote learning forced by the COVID-19 pandemic has had an unexpected benefit. It allowed the Center to expand summer program access to participants from across the country and around the world.
